PLOT
The series, set in the fictional metropolis of Palm City, follows Vince Faraday, an innocent police detective who was about to leave the force that has been corrupt. When his police chief is murdered by the mysterious individual known as Chess, Faraday learns of a plot by billionaire Peter Fleming to take over the police department. Unfortunately, when a e-mail arrives that leads him and his partner Marty Voyt to a cargo train equipped with weapons, Voyt sets up Faraday and is kidnapped by Chess, who frames Faraday for a crime he did not commit and then left for dead after he is caught by the police. Vince is eventually saved by a circus ringleader who prepares him with special abilities to defend himself against his foes. Separated from his wife and son, he tries to clear his name while protecting them from being killed in the event that he should be reported alive. He takes the law into his own hands by taking the guise of his son's favorite comic book hero, The Cape, after he is given a special suit that has unique capabilities. Vowing to get rid of the corruption that has taken over both the city and the police force, Vince goes after the person responsible for setting him up and causing his "demise".

Biography:
Unexpected Mercy. We are six passionate musicians, with a great desire to influence and to inspire the world through our blend of metal / hardcore / death metal music.Formed in 2007, after a few rounds of slight line-up changes, Unexpected Mercy are finally set with a permanent line-up.
The band started off with Ian and his sister; Vivian together with Russel to form a band that plays hardcore music thanks to the many musical influences by the bands that they
started to listen to that plays hardcore music. A few months later Daniel joined themand together they have a couple of jamming sessions. Former band members started to
leave thus pushing them to seek for members to fill in the spaces.
During the end of the year 2007, Ian met Joey at a college music event, thus prompting him the position as the vocalist for Unexpected Mercy. Without hesitation, Joey gladly accepted the offer and since then he is the best candidate for the position. At the beginning of 2008, they started to compose their own songs and atthe same time they were struggling and seeking for a full-time bassist in the band. Late 2008, Joshua came into the picture nicely when they met him at a show. After that, there’s no turning back and a new journey begins for Unexpected Mercy with a steady and permanent line-up.
With Joey on vocals, Ian and Russel on guitars, Joshua on bass, Daniel on keyboards, and Vivian on drums, Unexpected Mercy is now poised to impact the music scene with passion and sheer determination. Unexpected Mercy's music is comprised with solid double-bass kicks, with hard-hitting snare hits; creating beats and grooves, working together with basslines that are groovy as well as solid bass fills, mixing them with both chugging guitars and also riffs combining with guitar solos, thus bringing in the atmospheric keyboards and lastly melodic vocals and not forgetting low growls and high pitch screams that are orchestrated into a concoction of brutal breakdowns, prominent symphonic keyboards with electronica samples, guitar riffs and solos, and also with a melodic feel in those songs that can inspire you.
Lyrically, Unexpected Mercy writes about the normal struggles we face in our everyday lives, but yet we can find hope within their belief and their faith, to encourage and to impart a whole new level and mindset towards the world.
So far, 3 songs have been recorded and released in the year 2010, following plans to release an EP in the 1st quarter of 2011, then followed by plans to also release a full
length debut by the end of 2011. (read less)

- Born in 2001 with Azwi (vocal, guitar), Amy (drum) and Ritz (bass), playing metal industrial stuffs. Predicate Not Defined managed to play various gigs in Kuala Lumpur, Perak, Penang, Ipoh and Terengganu, slowly building up their followers.
In 2002, a demo (Beginning) was released which contained 4 experimental songs. This demo received good feedback from listeners. In 2004, PnD got to play in Singapore for a tribute to Iron Maiden gig, bringing the band to another level in years to come.
In 2005, an EP (Punishment of Evil) was released with 4 extreme metal songs which changed the musical direction for the band. In 2006, the band finally released a debut album entitled 'The Story Remains The Same', with 10 new songs in dynamic genres from metal, rock, experimental and fusion of Malaysian traditional music like Joget and Keroncong. This album received outstanding review from local music magazines and helped PnD to gain many fans throughout Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia and Thailand.
The band stepped forward by playing rare shows in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and participating in the Thailand Metal Fest 2008 in Bangkok, Thailand. With current line up, Azwi, Adie, Hilda, Zack and Own, PnD now focuses on upcoming album, which is due to release in 2010. PnD is also looking forward for a nationwide tour too.
Metallica, Pantera, Inflames, Rotting Christ, Arch Enemy are currently PND's main influence with twists of traditional Malay tune - defining Predicate Not Defined's music for this moment.
