Started in the 90s, this BMX band has since become a prominent player in the industry. Down their memory lane, MARIONEXXES has gone through plenty of maturing experiences; from losing their records in a Singapore’s police investigation to the arrest of their frontgirl, the band has got it all.
Their days ring in December 1997 with pioneering members including Ernie (vocals, lead guitar), DekDo (drums), Piko (bass), Johan (guitar, back-up vocals) and Joe (keyboard). Objectified towards making the sounds of happiness, the band came up with their first single in the same year, Bicycle Model X. Two years later in 1999, the band then came up with their baby release, STICKY SPOILLY THEPOPPYCOCK Rehearsal which contains 3 mega hits; Jalan Dobi, Marilyn Monroe and Freshie from Boarding School. Soon after, MARIONEXXES gained a larger fan base, entitling their baby a stepping stone award.
After having gone through few changes in their line-up, Marionexxes’ line has now been well-perfected, making their visibility becoming more formidable than ever. Lyrically influenced by Jarvis Cocker, MARIONEXXES is one musically versatile band. From Kassim Selamat’s melodies to current disco tech, the band owns them all.
MARIONEXXES’ music is one of the most original blends of melodies, adding a pointy uniqueness into their artworks. Being lyrically beautiful may have helped bridging MARIONEXXES to their fans, yet the most noticeable is their music. It’s a breathtaking mix of unmatchable melodies! (Yeah, you can say so). This BMX band has been creating inimitable music, some may find it freaky, but most will find it freakily exquisite.

Universiti Malaya based, MARIONEXXES is the old Malaysia band started in 1997 by the BMX kids from various boarding schools but the band is just make a move out from their DIY scene to make a proper record with the band's own independence music. It is hard to keep the band alive when some several changes have been made due to the politics issues attacked the original line up. The band take almost 3 years suffered after their front-girl arrested in that untold incident. In 2005 the band reformed at Universiti Malaya to play some alert shows to tell the scene that they still alive with their new breath faces. The substitute have been make, the band keep their noise below the radar. They will soon be in the mainstream airplay if the chances come over it. The band 1st DEBUT ALBUM is start in process by late December 2007 with the last 10 years documentation album memories of MARIONEXXES.

Unexpected Mercy. We are six passionate musicians, with a great desire to influence and to inspire the world through our blend of metal / hardcore / death metal music.Formed in 2007, after a few rounds of slight line-up changes, Unexpected Mercy are finally set with a permanent line-up.
The band started off with Ian and his sister; Vivian together with Russel to form a band that plays hardcore music thanks to the many musical influences by the bands that they
started to listen to that plays hardcore music. A few months later Daniel joined themand together they have a couple of jamming sessions. Former band members started to
leave thus pushing them to seek for members to fill in the spaces.
During the end of the year 2007, Ian met Joey at a college music event, thus prompting him the position as the vocalist for Unexpected Mercy. Without hesitation, Joey gladly accepted the offer and since then he is the best candidate for the position. At the beginning of 2008, they started to compose their own songs and atthe same time they were struggling and seeking for a full-time bassist in the band. Late 2008, Joshua came into the picture nicely when they met him at a show. After that, there’s no turning back and a new journey begins for Unexpected Mercy with a steady and permanent line-up.
With Joey on vocals, Ian and Russel on guitars, Joshua on bass, Daniel on keyboards, and Vivian on drums, Unexpected Mercy is now poised to impact the music scene with passion and sheer determination. Unexpected Mercy's music is comprised with solid double-bass kicks, with hard-hitting snare hits; creating beats and grooves, working together with basslines that are groovy as well as solid bass fills, mixing them with both chugging guitars and also riffs combining with guitar solos, thus bringing in the atmospheric keyboards and lastly melodic vocals and not forgetting low growls and high pitch screams that are orchestrated into a concoction of brutal breakdowns, prominent symphonic keyboards with electronica samples, guitar riffs and solos, and also with a melodic feel in those songs that can inspire you.
Lyrically, Unexpected Mercy writes about the normal struggles we face in our everyday lives, but yet we can find hope within their belief and their faith, to encourage and to impart a whole new level and mindset towards the world.
So far, 3 songs have been recorded and released in the year 2010, following plans to release an EP in the 1st quarter of 2011, then followed by plans to also release a full
length debut by the end of 2011. (read less)

- Born in 2001 with Azwi (vocal, guitar), Amy (drum) and Ritz (bass), playing metal industrial stuffs. Predicate Not Defined managed to play various gigs in Kuala Lumpur, Perak, Penang, Ipoh and Terengganu, slowly building up their followers.
In 2002, a demo (Beginning) was released which contained 4 experimental songs. This demo received good feedback from listeners. In 2004, PnD got to play in Singapore for a tribute to Iron Maiden gig, bringing the band to another level in years to come.
In 2005, an EP (Punishment of Evil) was released with 4 extreme metal songs which changed the musical direction for the band. In 2006, the band finally released a debut album entitled 'The Story Remains The Same', with 10 new songs in dynamic genres from metal, rock, experimental and fusion of Malaysian traditional music like Joget and Keroncong. This album received outstanding review from local music magazines and helped PnD to gain many fans throughout Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia and Thailand.
The band stepped forward by playing rare shows in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and participating in the Thailand Metal Fest 2008 in Bangkok, Thailand. With current line up, Azwi, Adie, Hilda, Zack and Own, PnD now focuses on upcoming album, which is due to release in 2010. PnD is also looking forward for a nationwide tour too.
Metallica, Pantera, Inflames, Rotting Christ, Arch Enemy are currently PND's main influence with twists of traditional Malay tune - defining Predicate Not Defined's music for this moment.

-Started to play and sing at the age of 16, from actively join the churches backup singers. And played guitar when everytime she hanging up or in malay words we called "Lepak" around her house area or flat we say. :)
-Fly to Kelantan to further her studies in Diploma. (courses let it be a secret. LOL)
-Can't stand on doing nothing, she started with her friends to perform in a small show runs by her university. Raya, Hari Terbuka Desa, etc. (Actively performing from 2008 till now.)

we r 'WE MOSHING WITH MARRYANNE'
WmWm is short form for our band's name..WmWm is a GOMBAK post hardcore band..we r just a litle band and also freshie in a world sence of indie...
basically WmWm was formed in early 2010...this year r..the first member is only iesy:drummer,ical:lead guitar and vocalist lastly arai:bassist....
to get the fully perfect to WmWm ..iesy ask bella to be our vocalist band..becoz he admire the great voice of bella...on first day WmWm jammed,Lam was invited to be lead in WmWm,change position with ical...that day is full of history about WmWm........

This band was started on early 2009. It was created by Apih and Rouse. Apih took a part as a Lead Guitarist (1st guitar) while Rouse as a Drummer. at the same time, Chain (Vocalist) and Bulat (Bassist) was joined this band and they called it The Donkees. in the end of the years 2009, Side was joined The Donkees as a Rhytm Guitarist (2nd guitar). starting years 2010, Pedi was joined,took a part as as Keyboardist. The Donkees was perfomed for the first time in KB FEST GIG. Our goals was just to continue to make music that reflected who we are and what we valued in music and what we interested in. Hopefully if we continue to do that, people will see that we're the same band, even if we try new things..
